J&J Baby Soap

What: Baby Soap
Why kept: It might be useful and desire for a clean baby
Destination: Regifting for a baby shower
How long kept: I think it was a gift from friends for The Kid, so it was kept less than a year

I forgot to photo it before it went to the shower. I don't care for this "flavor" of baby wash. I like the lavendar one better or even better yet, Burt's bee balm baby wash. Another thing Flylady says goes something like this, "You are not behind, just jump right in where you are."

Regifting!

Regifting!

What: Baby outfit (has lil puppy feet and says "I woof you"), new with tags. Gift basket with "relaxing" lotion, soap and body spray and some Yogi nursing support tea for the mom to be all in a gift bag I've had since the Boy was an infant
How long kept: most no more than 6-8 months with the exception of the gift bag that is going on 5 years
why kept: the Kid outgrew the outfit so fast! The tea I have plenty of and thought I'd share. And I think we've discussed that I no longer need to ever purchase soap for the next few years, thanks to my Bath and Body works stash. The gift bag was cute so it was sticky
Destination: in the car going to the baby shower on Sunday. Posted for Monday

Confession: I have SO many gift bags that I will probably never need to buy one. I gave probably about 30 of them away on freecycle a few years ago because there was NO way in heck I'd ever use them all. I've kept the cutest bags to reuse. Anywhoo the baby shower was.... great :) I have to think about planning one for my pregnant friend :)

PS the card even came from my Greeting Card Department... Money spent on this gift? I think I'm at $3 for the tea

Almost return to lender

Almost return to lender

What: baby clothes borrowed from a friend when The Kid was outgrowing clothes so fast we put out a call for fleece sleepers. A friend came through in spades
how long kept: about a month past their "expiration date"
Destination: our friends requested them back originally, but changed their mind when confronted with the question, "Can we drop them off today?" They said to pass them on. Luckily, today we saw my sister-in-law and she happily took them :)

What: pretty bowl.
Origin: received it as a wedding gift
Last used: we never took it out
Why kept: it was a gift from, it might be useful, it's perfectly good
Destination: re gift for a wedding shower
It's truly a beautiful bowl, but we have others that are a little more practical for serving.

Inspiring.... (Friday's post)

What: "inspirational" notes
Origin: swag from a fund raiser. I actually received 2 of these. One was regifted to a friend that loves these types of saying.
How long kept: I believe this was from two years ago
Why: might need to regift it
Destination: I put it in a garage sale pile. My friend "L" is having one in May. Some of my other items previously blogged as Goodwill switched piles. More to follow, I hope. A LOT MORE

Last used: December of 2005 when beloved Dick the cat passed on
Why kept: out of sight and they might be useful. We thought about using the Champ for a diaper pail but cleaning it was going to be too much of a challenge
Destination: my friend who introduced me to the litter champ. She is grateful for the liner refills (this is here doorstep where I dumped my liners)

Confession: watch to the litterChamp to grace this blog

Also, I added regifting to the blog.
