What: Spare shelving components.
Origin: See confession.
How long kept: Probably 15 years.
Why kept: Might Need Them. Out of Sight, Out of Mind.
Destination: Back to building management (and from there, probably trash).

Confession: These little shelf-lets were installed in my apartment around a phone cable in the closet, I think to protect the cable. They were never actually functional, and they made several square feet of the closet useless.

I uninstalled them years ago, and stuck them in the top of another closet, along with the shelf of a microwave that has since been replaced. Where they also took up a good slice of real estate...
