Searching for my missing piece
What: several bags of mateless socks, pieces of fleece used for doggie beds,
old jeans (all laundered)
Why kept: buried in the sock drawer, might be useful, and waiting for the
trip to the textile recycling bin.

Why kept: we were going to use it, but I got my mom one that was too heavy and bulk. She gave this one to the Hubby. We returned the heavy one and gave her this fish flipper back. The Hubby does a fine job of flipping fish without it :-)

Why am I blogging what appears to be normal garbage? Well, I've had this box since the early part of the century. It was out of sight similar to my liquid clorox2 that I blogged earlier (I'll try to link to that page)
Last used: I shook out the last of the powder today! Woot,
Why kept: in an effort to keep whites white and not get my colors dingy

Why I oughtta
What: rolling pin ( I thought about running through the house yelling, "why I oughtta" waving the rolling pin above my head but I decided against it.) Also included are expired supplements ('07) and a very hard to wash water bottle
Last used. The rolling pin would get normal use but we couldn't remove the sticky sticker residue. The other stuff. I don't know.... I'll go with '07
Why: The Hubby received a new one for Christmas. The remaining were out of sight.
Destination: AmVets, recycle and Rx disposal respectively (just in case you needed a clue :-). )
Confession: I have new motivation. I can across a few episodes of Hoarders and I couldn't turn away! I'm back on track with decluttering for at least 15 minutes a day. My Farm on facebook is suffering! LOL. Thanks to FlyLady and the timer!!! :)
On another note, I didn't bring home some swag from a volunteer reception I attended. The Hubby did bring home the hand crank operated flashlight. Well, The Boy will enjoy it and The Kid will try to eat it. :)

Why? As a joke for a friend that is afraid of them. I think we put some on her desk @ work. I could have mailed them to her but... She doesn't need them either

Rubber ducky.... You're (not) the one
What: two grungy duckies
Last used: a few baths ago
Why kept: aarrggghhh I just thought about going to save the princess duckie!! The Boy loves to play with that one and the pirate ducks! Argh. No .... Resist. Deeeep breath!!! Ok, I'm ok. Enough said?
Destination: trash
Well I haven't quite had a duck for duck exchange, but more ducks will succumb to the mildew monster. The others are okay.... Really :)
