"A spider wort plant, which believe it or not, despite this evidence, is a nice native plant that blooms in the spring. I said yes to a neighbor's offer, then a wheelbarrow-full later I still hadn't found an adoption for this guy. With all the dry weather, I think these roots got fried like a bad perm. A trip to the community mulch pile yesterday ended my lame foster-parenting. Three weeks was too long to be living in a hot wheelbarrow, exposed to the cruel, cruel summer."
