What: 3 spice tins, empty and showing, uh, patina.
Origin: Hip cooking ambitions.
How long kept: At least one might be from the 80s. (Unlike some of the spices in, um, someone's cabinet, none of my actual spices are older than my nephews.)
Why kept: I might have refilled one of these with bulk spices from my local health food store. At some point, I stopped using them and hung onto them because I might keep beads or buttons in them. (Uh, Good Crafting Intention Gone Bad.) And also, They Might Be Useful, and Out of Sight, Out of Mind. Aargh.
Destination: Recycling.
