I made the mistake of putting it in the dishwasher and warping the rubber bottom, so it wobbles, and now it seems to have flop sweat like Nixon had debating JFK. "S," you add another data point: it would seem for these mugs to be truly "green" that they should be made to be dishwasher safe. They sure aren't recyclable, at least not in NYC. Sigh.
