"...just to test the felt-tip marker, which is about 3 years old (and was a never-used gift) but still works. So the whole packet now goes to my cute next door neighbor boy, age 10, who has a newly acquired street kitten (whom he named "Sweetie"...ahhh...) Had I been more on the ball it could have been a little holiday gift. Instead, it's a re-gift."

ReplyDelete(And as a kid, I always loved to get a forgotten present after Christmas -- the ones my mom found hidden in the back of the closet. So I'll bet that Sweetie's new dad thinks that these are very special.)
